Hello Sioux City, IA and surrounding towns

Relocated from Las Vegas, NV and looking for some good flying spots.

Welcome to the West - Mid-West. If I were in you’re area I’d check out the Riverside Bluffs area for flying. Restrictions are: No hunting or trapping, No motorized vehicles (maybe only ground based but check) and No horses.

I’ve personally never visited but the loess bluffs along the east side of the Missouri River provide some beautiful scenery all along the river’s course.

A bit north in South Dakota, all of the state parks allow flying.

Lots of public hunting areas in NW Iowa that are great. Although this probably isn't the best time of year for that

Yea, I guess I should watch where I fly during duck or pheasant season

I am from the area, along the Missouri River there are many great spots. I like old barns and I travel along the gravel rural roads.

That sounds great! I can't wait to get out and fly. The weather has been pretty crappy most of the time since I've been in town and I imagine it's just going down hill from here.
