Help! New mavic owner

Hey guys new on here and new mavic owner who can use some help. Just got my mavic yesterday took it out the box followed all steps on app and came across the dji care refresh section which i wanted but when i entered the mavics info an error message showing its been over 48 hrs and this mavic already had dji care before. I bought mines refurbished from a dji reseller not from dji so the reseller told me to send him pics and the mavics serial numbers and they would reset it to factory defaults because dji forgot to reset the drone. So my question is, is there a way around this ? Like can i do the reset myself so i can then get the dji care refresh? Didnt want to wait for the back and forth emails from the reseller I ordered from online. Thanks hope this was detailed enough
