Just today received my mavic combo very pleased with the quality as an x engineer looks well made
Went thru charging etc and told me to update firmware which it did ok but seemed to stick for ages on 99% so I switched off everything then re-booted only be told firmware is latest issue what should I do next ? everything says ok to fly

If it got stuck at 99%, then you're probably fine. 99% is just the final reboot stage, I believe.

I've had this happen to me. You should be fine. The FW did update.

You can verify the firmware was installed by checking the firmware version in the "General Settings" --> "About" section of DJI GO.
