Just upgraded my device. Tripple checked wiring and installation and Settings.

My 5.8ghz antenna for mavic 2 zoom is just not functioning appropriately.

My signal is nearly twice as bad as with the oem configuration

Il post some images of settings and a short vid of the bad signal and issue presisting.

Everything is updated. bstteries charged. istallation precise.
I can barely hit 500 meters without my drone experienci g issues as opposed to 4km previously with stock antennas.

Any suggestions?

Did the installation and upgrade of 5G ruin the amplification antenna?

were you very careful when you removed the original coaxial connectors from the board during the fitting process ,it is very easy to damage them as you remove the silicone to enable them to be unplugged

Yes very much so. I heard and felt an audiable click when I reset the cables to the board.

I have an image to show proof.

First of all you need to calibrate your controller sticks that’s why is says mag interference.

Secondly is it boosted? Did you get the 5.8 version? If you did you need to manually set the remote to work in only 5.8 mode. Theboosted signal boosts the noise too so that’s why the graph shows high interference but it only measures noise not noise to signal so even though the noise is much higher the signal is much higher too negating that fact.

I’ve got the Alientech 2.4G signal booster mounted on my MM remote but only got one flight with it before the lockdown. It seemed to be working ok as I got over 2 km on a quick flight over rough, rocky terrain. Hope to get out next week and do some more flying.

Is this antenna designed to work in city ranges or rural landscape only?

Poor connection, Manual setting to 5.8 ghz or 10 mhz settings do not help the outcome? any suggestions ?
