help with firmware issue

im having trouble with one of our mini 2s

1. startup with device attached
2. press go fly
3. aircraft module firmware issue
4. Incompatible firmware version. Go to profile > settings to update firmware (Code: 30224)
5. aircraft firmware 01.02.0300 check for updates
6. your firmware up to date

so Ive brought it home to connect to dji assistant
Ive downloaded the latest correct assistant 2 (consumer drone series)
Connected the controller and refreshed firmware no issues.
The aircraft will not connect to assitant. Ive tried various leads (even though the leads worked fine with the controller)
there is no sd card in the mavic (although i did try all of the above steps with an sd card installed, just to check)

Im not sure what else to do. Any suggestions?

Thanks mate.
I think my issue is that the drone will not connect to pc and guessing it’s the USB port. Time for warranty
