He has hired a lawyer.

Flying into the Space Needle and going to the police to reclaim the Inspire may not have been the brightest move - but retaining a defense attorney and remaining silent when dealing with .gov is absolutely commendable.

Just those last two sentences show incredible bias. It is the duty and responsibility of anyone in the sights of law enforcement to hire a lawyer and remain silent. Having a lawyer speak for you isn't "not cooperating" - it's exercising your rights and, quite frankly, something most people are too stupid to do.

I've spent more time in the Needle than most people. There was a time I was there every day for nearly a year.

Drones flying outside the windows of the Needle was becoming commonplace. This is no different. What's even more scary is that seaplanes and helicopters fly right outside the windows on their approach to Lake Union and Fisher Plaza. It's just as likely he would hit another aircraft

The issue, in many cases, is the lack of access to open areas, especially within a city. So many people end up flying between buildings, certainly transgressing laws and regulations.

He probably doesn't want those "deleted or hidden files" recovered . Never use the same SD card in your drone as you do in other devices or those nude selfie pics you've been sending your girlfriend might get exposed ,lol
