Hotham Valley Tourist Railway operate heritage trains from Dwellingup, a town south east of Perth, Australia.

I work as a volunteer with the railway.

Great video but why cheat using a diesel engine?

On trips where 5 coaches are used the grades are too steep for just the steam loco.

I spent a lifetime working on Rail maintenance and construction first in Australia but then in UK, Africa, Mongolia and China. My wife's grandfather was a loco driver in Russia. Drove one of those armored trains you see in movies in the revolution.
