HI,

New drone pilot here with a Mavic Air. What a wildly different world this is! I'm just learning the ropes and will probably be doing so for quite some time.

I got into this for the photography and videography.

The biggest hurdle I have is to find any sites around here that are worth the effort. But, I'm sure they're out there!

Hey Kevin,
I am in Lawrence and have had the Mavic Pro since early December 2017. It has been fun, but like you mentioned, I am not sure what to capture that is worth the effort.

They are fun to fly, and the photos and video are fun to experience and edit.

A giant oak tree jumped out in front of my Mavic last night
Lost all 4 props and the LED cover

That's going to be a tough part to find since most people are not willing to part out just that small piece. Here are some options:

• Buy 4 covers from this seller on eBay (they appear to be OEM)
• PM @Thunderdrones and ask him if he's willing to sell any
• Buy 4 new arms, harvest that part, and resell the parts you don't need

If it's the front LED cover, just snap it in. You dont have to be gentle, it wont break.
