Yeah the controller is super easy to use, and for a 1st drone I free spoilt. But it's what I flew went I did my RePL, so I thought perfect to learn on. I few along Stinky Point at Caves Beach over the weekend and hopefully going to edit some footage shortly (kids will dictate that). As soon as I get some CASA approval, I'd like to fly Newcastle Beaches at dusk, and then the Great Ocean Rd in Vic which is where I'm originally from.

Is that due to dusk flight, or more the airforce base ?
I've dabbled on the NOTAM (Airservices Aust) site a bit regarding flying such normally restricted areas (apparently) with relative ease.
Someone once pointed it all out to me a few years ago, and how they fly many places DJI and normal flights are generally blanket no fly on the various apps.
DJI Flysafe Geo map also comes into play a lot in certain places.
I've driven Stockton a few times over the years, but never flown there.
Due to Williamtown, and needing approval.
Yeah it's pretty easy to get approval, you just need to let them know where, when and try and fly when they're not. It won't be looked favourable upon if you run into an F35
