Decided to not wait until they go backordered. Ordered one today from Amazon. Expect delivery Wednesday (nothing happens faster in our rural area, we're lucky if we even get 2 day delivery...). Can always return it if the update falls through.

Received my unit today. Now I need to wait for the update. At least it's returnable (from Amazon) for quite a while if DJI fails us Air 2S owners...
