How do I cache maps with DJI Fly app?

Just got my Mavic mini a couple of days ago. I purchased an iPad mini 4 without GPS to use as my viewer . How do I cache maps using the DJI Fly app?

I also want to know- I am a Parrot guy new to DJI.

You will need an internet connection.
Enter the fly app, then switch to your map app and scroll around the area you want. Then back to airplane mode. Then back to fly app.
Works for me, but I think I’ve read of some issues.
Gps isn’t required on the mini as long as you load maps when you are around your WiFi signal.

Sorry, don't understand the 'back to airplane mode' part.

Airplane mode on your device means that you exit the internet connection.
You need to be connected to the internet to to collect the maps. Once you have those, switch out of internet. Most people don’t fly with internet connected.
