How much bending the wires in the arms (mavic) will it take?

Just curious. Keep folding the arms on the mavic in and out, how flexible the wires that go to the motors are?
If it just goes in the car in the trunk I usually leave the leg/arm folded out, kind of want to extend the life if the wires if I can.
Has anyone seen the wires degrade and break or is it a non-issue

Actually, someone from DJI told someone a few weeks ago that the arms will last 50,000 times.

The wires in the arms have alot of slack built in to them. The wires never really twist, they just bend a little bit. The wires will last alot longer than 50,000 openings and closings of the arms.

I wouldnt be so much concerned with the wires failing, as much as the spring in the hinge pins wearing out. But they too will last 50,000 openings and closings. I have never seen a wiring harness or hinge spring fail due to normal wear and tear. If a drone is crashed, then that changes things and anything can break.

DJI drones are meant to last a very, very long time under normal conditions. Every time I work on a Mavic, it reminds me of working on my dads old 1965 Plymouth Valiant with 225 slant 6 engine. It wasnt fast, didnt have A/C, power steering or power brakes, but all the engine components were out there in the open, and it was so easy to work on. The engines never died, but the "body cancer" rust would kill the car before anything else.

I've never seen anyone report such an issue on any of the DJI drone forums. So, it must be a non-issue.
