I have noticed that when flying fast and releasing the stick the quad will angle sharply up in an attempt to quickly stop but continues forward several feet. Just sort of "slides" or drifts slowly.

Is there a way to stop the "slide" after stick release?

Thanks

You can adjust the brake in the following section of DJI GO:

Test your new setting out while flying above all obstacles -- just in case it slides more than you had planned.

Awesome! Thank you. I will try that out in a few minutes. I'll go out in the open field and set it to zero and see what happens, then set to max and see again.
Then adjust accordingly.

Ok I did just that. Lowest setting is 10 so I tried that. Considerable drift after releasing stick BUT very little "jerking" upwards.
Tried a lot of settings releasing directly over my head so I could see the drift. Honestly anything from 100 -200 I saw very little difference.
No setting stopped it much.
So I will be a lot more gentle on releasing the sticks.

You're always going to have some slide. The Mavic is not able to stop on a dime.
