Yes, I ned to correct my statement. For grand landscapes that include a lot of earth and sky, then blue sky with partial clouds can be great. If you're not including the sky or making closeups of earthly details, then I prefer the soft contrast of overcast light.

Yes I understand, as I don't shoot around noon when the suns out as it washes everything.
