seems like i am only getting 19 or 20 minute flight times with my batteries. are others getting longer? is P mode the best for extending flight time, what are the biggest factors, i assume going up must take more juice than anything else?

I'll give you a call this week, be easier to explain how to care for the li-po batteries, its simple, but if not maintained correctly shorter runs and life of these batteries will reduce considerably

Keep in mind the flight times by DJI are from 100% battery life down to 0% if you are landing at the usual 30% warning time that is about right, maybe a little on the short side. I normally get about 23-24 minutes going down to 20-25% battery life.

20 minute flight times in real world conditions is pretty much spot on. DJI clearly states in their promotional materials that the 27 minute flight time is under ideal conditions, in a lab. We will get the best flight times/range if our batteries are in good health, no wind, P-Mode, and 15 mph, no altitude changes, and moderate temperatures.

20 mins is decent I think, especially if wind, sport mode or max throttle. To get max battery, don't fly full throttle has worked well for me

seems normal to me too i have had as little as 16 mins and a max of about 23 mins running the battery to 10 percent
