20250725_160715.jpgI crashed my drone. can't seem to be able to reattach my Mavic 2 zoom gimbal to the round silver disc. I can get it on but it wont stay on. Any thoughts on how to put it back on?
Thanks!

I’d suggest you search for gimbal repair/replacement on a Mavic 2 pro on YouTube. There are many good instructional videos available. You may find the procedure to reattach your gimbal.

Thanks for the prompt reply.

This is my first time posting to Mavicpilots.

I had already searched Google and you tube. No luck finding anything about how to put the gimbal arm onto just the disc.

After my crash into the brush oak I was able to temporarily attach the gimbal several times to finish the project.

Everything works! Except the gimbal won't stay on very long...

Anyone know how to keep it on?

Thanks!20250725_175512.jpg

The gray colored material in your pictures is a glue product that DJI uses in their production process.
In reattaching the two halves, the correct alignment will be the trick.
