Welcome to the forum! Your wharf area is a great place to fly...in the early morning before everyone fills the shoreline. I’ve flown from just west of Isla Vista to the Gaviota Pass, parking at the 101 pull-outs that overlook the Pacific. Solvang makes for some good videos and pics, too. Have a blast!

Thanks hoss. To zero in I’m actually out here at vandenburg AFB. So there’s some heavy restrictions on my airspace. Hence why I put SB. ;0)


I’ll be sure to post some footage once I get cooking

And the wharf sounds amazing when I can get down there. Been compiling a hit list for hiking spaces I’ve visited and wanted to get an aerial view.
