A true newbie to the sport. I guess we call this a sport. I always wanted a drone, but would keep upgrading my choices for all the fancy stuff and price myself out of getting one. Then I saw multiple articles about the DJI Mini 4K being about the perfect beginner drone and then saw Amazon mark it down during the Prime sales, and as they say the rest is history.
Taking my time learning how to really fly this thing. I got the Pro package so I have a nice carry case that will fit in a saddlebag and three batteries. Only thing extra I tried to do and have so far failed was to use my Samsung Tab S7. It connects fine, but the DJI Air software but it hangs up on the "Before You Fly" box with "Locating ..." on the screen and just sits there. But my Samsung S23 Ultra works fine. The bigger screen would be nice but not the end of the world. Anyway, I hope to learn a lot on here!
