We have Dugongs here in the warmer Australian waters, affectionately known as 'sea cows', due to the grazing nature they have.
Manatee and Dugong are very similar in most aspects, very gentle and slow.

A little known fact is that a gathering or large group of Manatees is known as a "bleeblonk" of manatees.
