I'm trying to do a hyperlapse using waypoints and stumbling into all kinds of obstacles. The way points list saved when doing just way points appears to be separate from the list saved when doing hyperlapse way points. So I went out side and set to way points just to get an idea of the interface. I hit the three dots and that brought up three options. The last is the length but it was set to 2 seconds and could not be changed. This is a Mavic 3 Cine so it has a 1TB SSD. What is the magic I need to do to get a longer hyperlapse. I need to fly for about a half hour and I'd like the ending clip about 30 seconds. I was trying to figure out ahead of time how to set things up.

I found an old thread here. It seems that the time of the final footage is locked into the distance of the track -- which is utterly arbitrary.

Mavic 4 Pro can make a 30 second hyperlapse.

I need to go out and just do a lot of experimentation but right now, it appears that the limiting factor is the total flight time is capped at 12.5 minutes. The final length of the video and the seconds between frames are connected so that raising one lowers the max of the other. The 12.5 minute cap I can almost understand since the batteries will die but seems like it should be closer to a 30 or 45 minute cap rather than 12.5. Again... this is half speculation. It is interesting that the YouTube videos that "teach" how to do Hyperlapse do not mention anything about these limitations.
