I am new here: I can't get my Mavic Pro 2 to put video on Ipad Mini 4

I can get Mavic Pro 2 pictures taken by the drone to appear on my Ipad Mini 4, but my videos never show up. I was very mad the other day when I thought I had shot the best video of my life at a beach and after I packed up to go home, none of my video was saved, only a couple of bad pictures. I tried shooting again, this time reducing my video to the lowest resolution possible and it still did not work. I checked all the settings and am ready to throw my brand new IPad out into the ocean because it works perfectly on my Samsung Note 9 (but I have a otterbox case on my phone which is a pain to take out of case to attach to the mavic remote control, so that's why I wanted to use a dedicated ipad that has no case on it).

On ios the video cache doesn't get put into the gallery, it's found in the "editor" in the app.
The real video is in the card or internal storage onboard the aircraft anyway. Switch the camera to play mode to confirm it's there...
