I hate to admit it but.... I like the P4 more than the M2

I'm giving one of my P4s to my nephew - he is an archaeologist we agreed that could help his career to get a 107 and have a drone.
I have not flown it since I got the M2P last october so I pulled out all the kit charged everything up and took a flight.
It was actually more fun. In sport mode the P4 is faster and seems more responsive - at least subjectively.
The M2 is a better drone in many ways and for paid missions it is certainly the way to go - who wants to lug the P4 around, and the M2 is much quieter.
Not to mention a better camera, more stable and safer - but for pure fun I think I like the P4 better.

Lol I have two So I’ll give him one.
I really admire him he went into a field thats tough to make a living because that’s what he really likes.
He’s actually gainfully employed by the Seminole Indian tribe.

Maybe let him fly the M2 for a bit while you enjoy the P4.

After six months, then decide.

Either way, it’s good to cycle those expensive P4 batteries.

Actually last October I got a knock off on Amazon for like 88 bucks and so far it seems fine.
I can get like 20 mins to 20% no wind. Of course the P4 has a large wind profile.
In fact with 14 MPH wind I got up to like 58 MPH. Now that's fun.

The Phantom (P4P) still has a better camera, it's my favorite as well
The Lowepro, Drone Guard Kit makes it much easier to carry around

Certainly my thoughts and some of my favourite devices has been ones that reviews have said to avoid, we all have different preferences and likes.

Personally I can’t stand the Mavic Pro 2 and Zoom. Phantom flies way better to me and Mavic Air 2 smokes them too. I hated my Zoom and Pro. Hoping for phantom 5....but inspire 2 is next purchase. ??
