Yes, as I said, I would guess that the problem is most probably HW related.

Since I don't really know the root cause of the GPS problem I can't really say that "the remote control bug" is not the cause. But, I can't imagine how that could be the case.

Didn't you say in post #11 the GPS problem also occurred in a flight where CE power levels were in effect?
