They are both great drones. Choose based on the spec you require (compare them here) and the size of the drone. For example, if you need to take it with you when you go hiking, you probably wouldn't want a Phantom.

I went from the pro to the pro 2 zoom, the camera was a huge improvement. The drone itself is a little bigger, and built better, I was glad I made the change.
