I fly the DJI Mini 2 and I just updated the DJI Fly App from 1.10.1 to 1.10.6. I was just putzing around my back yard and launching from my wooden deck***. Previously, I received GPS-lock within 1-minute, 2 at the most…
Today, the weather is beautiful, barely a cloud in the sky, and it took anywhere from 3 to 5-minutes to get GPS lock. I ran three batteries through it, and I restated the App, the controller, and the drone about 10 different times using the three batteries.
A few times while flying I received a "weak GPS" notice. I never flew the drone more than 100-feet away from me.
Has anyone else experienced "strange" happenings with DJI Fly App 1.10.6?
*** Additionally, I never put the drone on the deck over a beam as the decking is nailed to them and I do not want the nails to interfere with the compass… I probably should have pulled out a landing pad and launched from the yard, but as they say, Hind-sight is 20/20….
