I've been thinking about this, and wondered if a gopro sticky mount on the back of it might work but it would need to go over the label.
Lots of options with that in place.

I haven't mounted the Mavic controller but RAM Mounts are probably the best thing out there and easy to make something work I'm sure .

This mount works.. the clamp grams the controller and there is a little gap between RC and phone.

Check out Ram Mounts. They have a ton of stuff which might work out for you. I have used various ones over the years on several mcs

Also quad lock so you would quad lock the phone and the controller is attached to the phone

These look ideal but the same pice in £s as $s here which seems a bit steep.

Useful for other things though admittedly.
Trouble is I can imagine only using with Mavic a handful of times.

I don't really need a more serious ram mount as it's quad bike/trail bike mainly and only very seldom going to want to use Mavic at same time.

I've ordered it but might be coming from China - not here yet.
I thought it might be OK to hold a phone in a car if it can't hold the controller like I hoped.
