25 image pano that I’m giving up on.
Even before merging the images I knew it would be a (removed by moderator) show.

Same inability to edit it into a usable image before and after merge.

Merge done in ptgui pro. Then into LR. And posted on Kuula.

Chong, thanks for your reply. Yes it was a purple sunset that evening. However, I’ve been unable to tame the hot purple outlines around the clouds. Here is a link to the dng files and am curious to see what you can do and how

I just take a quick look and I will edit it later today.

I see the variable in the ISO and Shutter speed. I always Lock it and out of Auto mode. It didnt hurt when it is stitched because PTGui blended it well at the seams. I also put the White Balance in Middle, not Auto mode.

Wow that is really weird. When I preview the file on my Mac the sky looks fine. When I open it in Lightroom the clouds get that purple outline. I was able to fix it by adjusting the Tint more towards green.

I have no idea why I get the purple sky too, I thought its just deep grey blue. If you Google it, the sky is actually purple in nature, not blue. I fill up the sky dome.

Thank you Chong and DMC.
This is the first time I’ve experienced the weird purple effect. It’s not subtle. I’ll also try to adjust the tint…thanks for the suggestion.
