Image Size for Spherical Panos

I've got a M2P, but the question is general - what's the best size to use for spherical panos? 3:2 or 16:9? Does the drone adjust the shots based on the image size you've selected?

And, does Litchi do a better job at 360 panos or DJI Go 4? (Haven't tried Litchi panos)
