In Louisiana there is a guy who took off from his own yard and flew over a neighbors yard at 300-400'. The neighbor was a cop and had him arrested days later. I understand the case sat for years as no judge wanted to preside over the case. However James Benson was charged with trespassing and given a suspended 90 day jail sentence. This is an important case for all UAV pilots. Fortunately for all of us, Mr Benson is willing to fight the matter up to the Supreme Court if need be. I found out about him from a Ken Heron video and I though it was important enough to support his go fund me account:
