Indiana Fly Zones

No, I haven't looked at any website. So I can find any open area and take off ?
I know state parks are a NO.

Essentially, yes. Your location is one of the least encumbered areas I've seen east of the Mississippi River.

The programs listed on that link will let you check the federal regulations for any location. You can use them online or as an app on your phone. (Local and state regulations and ordinances are not addressed, though they're not as great a concern in most cases.)

You might try this free online course from the Pilot Institute to learn about checking specific locations with Aloft Air Control. That's the app I use most often.

Where can one fly, in NC-Indiana ?

Hello from the Crossroads of America NorthIN_JY.

Always glad to see another Hoosier here.

All the times I've flown was in class G airspace in the country.

Check local ordinances about drone use from properties in your area.

I can fly in the City parks, but not the County parks.

Welcome to the Forum.
