Hey guys,

I just happened to navigate to my storage section in my iphone just to find that the dji fly app takes about 30gb in files.

First thing I did was to check the album in the app and clear it.

Now there are no files stored locally, the storage within the app shows no cached photos/videos are present.

Could you guys please help me locate the problem?

Just cleared mine on iPad and have this.

i dont have IOS but I know some other apps will allocate a minimum cache size..is there a setting for that?

Even after clearing the album, there still may be cached videos/pictures.
Logs will take up space too, but usually not several gig's of it.

you need to remember that the DJI apps are doing a lot of stuff in the background when you are flying your drone ,that is why they use a lot of the devices operating systems and memory
that's another reason to have a dedicated device with only apps that are required for flying activated

So, deleting all media files and reinstalling the app fixes the whole thing. App size is back to normal and weights just a few hundred megabytes.

I've put a cap of 8GB in the camera settings cache, let's see if it hold.
