Intelligent Flight Mode

I am new to drones, so maybe someone can help me with this. I can't seem to get the Intelligent Flight modes to appear on the phone screen when the drone is switched on and at rest on my table. Sometimes it appears very briefly, most times only 2 choices are shown on the screen. To have all the other options shown, does the drone have to be flying? Or is there a setting that I am missing.

Yep you’re dead right, the drone needs to be in the air before you can see the intelligent modes

... and some of the modes have minimum distances before they will allow you to run them.
