Intelligent modes not working with tele camera

Stating obvious I guess, but I have just found this out. Wouldn't it be nice if we could do Spotlight and POI with the tele lens? Are you listening DJI?,

It does, in equivalent if you record in 5K then crop video at 1080p

Not shure what you mean by this. How cropping of 5K video into 1080p going to replace Spotlight Pro and POI or Tracking? Perhaps you mean that 1080p crop from 5K video is equivalent to 162mm field of view? Are you sure about this?

I was referring to using the normal camera in these modes and cropping in post

Well, that obviously possible. The tele camera though has 162mm lens and it can record in 4K so I thought that it would be nice to have all the intelligent modes available with it.
