For the first time I ended up filling the 64GB card and needed to go to internal storage (note to self BUY MORE CARDS!) Anyway, I cannot figure out how to download the internal storage. I'm using my iPad mini and the adapter cable the came with the M2P has the lightning connector for the iPad, but the other end dose not fit the port on the drone. What amI missing?

You must connect the aircraft side port with an USB-C cable. There is an USB-A to USB-C cable supplied to connect to a computer. If you want to connect to an iPad you need to connect that to a ligntning->USB adapter (your card reader may have one).

Got it, however I'm trying to connect to a 2018 MacBook Pro and its all lightning connections. The only adapter cable to lightning does not connect directly to the drone and there is no adapter to make it fit. I'm guessing there is no way to download internal storage through the app in the iPad?

Yeah, I was afraid of that. I have a serious aversion to over priced (in this case WAY OVER PRICED) cables. Guess I'll have to bite the bullet.

That's strange that a host (PC) has Lightning socket. Usually Lightning is for B devices while a host (PC) should have an A socket.
Since Lightning is non-standard/proprietary USB, did the MacBook not come with a Lightning to USB-A adapter/cable?

My bad, I meant to say USB-C connections

That’s a silly price for the cable .. eBay has plenty of cables and adapters, and you could buy 5x and still have change. I think I’ll look into usb c to usb and use a usb to lightning lead which I use to content rc to iPad, this will save a bit of space and reduce cable confusion.

USB-C, not Lightning. Use the C-C cable that you have for connecting your mac and its charger...

Or use a C to A adapter to connect the stock DJI A to C cable, it would be hard to believe you don't have one if you have a Mac with C.

As for downloading using the app, I believe you can but it would be slow and you'd need your AC powered on with adequate battery power for the transfer.

Check the editor for means of importing.
From there though, you'd then need means to transfer from your device to your Mac.

Why not ask a friend with a PC then download the images and copy to a thumb drive, or maybe take it to a library and use their PC

This is the best solution for Lighting iPads, and lets you use any card-reader you want (with auxiliary power hookup) rather than plugging right into the drone which is not ideal:

Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter

Note if you have the new iPad Pro 11" / 12.9" It's all USB-C and all you need is a USB 3.0 C to A OTG adapter - it will power a card reader by itself but all previous Lightning iPads cannot without the above adapter.

Still can't believe there is no way to download internal storage through the DJI Go 4 app

Maybe I don't understand the process or procedure. And have been storing to the sd-card. But if using Internal, can't you still preview photos (that Triangle icon under the camera settings) from Internal storage and when Previewing, there's another icon (kind of down arrow/triangle) and that seems to download to my Tablet (admittedly, not an I-product). Is that available on the apple version of dji-go?
