iPhone 7+ stopped connecting

Since buying my Mavic 4 months ago I have used nothing but the 7 + running IOS 10 and supplied cable. Not a moment’s problem. I gradually installed the IOS 11 beta iterations with no problem but when the final version came out I installed it but could no longer communicate with the Mavic.
Everything works on my iPad mini 4 with same cables but no dice with the 7+. I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling the app but still no good and it’s driving me mad. Any ideas please? Thank you.

Others have reported this issue. I imagine DJI will come out with another update soon to fix the problem

I can’t see that update on my machine? (I am in the UK though so maybe we don’t get that yet)? Many thanks for your help though.
