iPhone touchpad does not sense tapping

Twice now I have had warnings that I am in a restricted zone with the option to reply “yes” to an agreement to fly responsibly. However, the screen freezes, won’t recognize finger taps, and you cannot get rid of it. You can still fly, but can only see the sides of the iPhone screen not covered by the message. Does anybody know how to unfreeze the screen without shutting down completely?

Have you tried just restarting the IPhone (only)?

Thank you for responding. Yes, you have to disconnect the phone and restart it. When you are all reconnected and set to go you get the same warning and a repeat. The phone seems to lose functionality with the appearance of the warning.

If you look very closely in the warning there is a small black box that you must tick to agree to then you can tap the yes box and warning will dissappear.
