I tried my version 12.1.1 IPod and it works. Took photos, shot video, flew far and wide. I couldn't figure out how to exit the settings menu without restarting, though.

No GPS on the device, of course, but a great way to have a second cameras in the air, with pixel 3xl connected to a bigger Mavic. And now, it'll be truly instantly available to fly.

For me, that the best use for an iPod Touch, a second device for my other connected devices.
