I want to test if I get the gimbal overload with the ribbon cable reinstalled before putting the video cable in, possible?

If I understand you correctly, you have the camera installed but not the ribbon cable and want to see if your repair is functional?

I want to put only the ribbon cable on, no video wire will be connected
