Is FCC based on where you buy it?

I am curious if I buy My drone in the US and fly it in a CE country will the drone still transmit in FCC mode?

Assuming it is not a Mavic Mini or a Mini SE it will switch to the signal strength appropriate to where it is flying.

Nope, it's based on your location, it doesn't matter where you bought the drone. If you want FCC in Europe check the web for hacks, there are some available.
