Is it possible to switch the status LED off?

is it possible to switch the back LED off on the MM?

No it isn't, may I ask why you would want to? You get a lot of info from that LED from how it flashes.

Other models let you switch off the front ones so they don't interfere with photography, but was never an option for the rear ones.
