Is the current DJI app for drones full of options for ads now?

Or am I using the wrong one for my mini 2 This one is titled "Drone DJI"

I need the app for a new phone. The old app worked on my older phone yesterday, Android btw.

Probably where I went wrong, as I searched on the app store.

Always use caution with the 'App Store" versions of the DJI App.
The version at the app store could be an older one OR worse a version that had a few bugs that were not corrected at the time.
App stores "approve" apps that are placed in the store for downloads. This "approval" process causes a large delay in getting the correct versions of the updates in the app stores. Always use the DJI site for any upgrading or Downloading.

To me, it's very simple: Always use the DJI Fly app from the App Store when using your iPhone or iPad, as if you have any other choice. Never, ever use any "DJI Fly" style apps from the Playstore on your Android device since there are no real or approved apps (to fly your drone) located there....all are fake. You must go to DJI.com.

DJI no longer has apps in the Google Play store. They only make those downloads available on their website.
