So today my brother and I went out and fly, he has a Mini 2 and I have the Mavic 3, I noticed while I am around his controller I get "RC Signal Interference" and notice he also got a couple of the same error, how can we fix this? does this happen when people fly in-group/friends

Set the remotes to different channels instead of letting the software select the frequency..... it sounds like you are having some overlap that is interfering with both signals.

Or even better set them on different bands, 2.4 and 5.8

That's normal ... step a little further away from his controller and it should be fine.
