Issues with my smart controller

Hello all. The issue I'm having is my DJI smart controller runs the drone link app. Now dronelink has updated their software but my Android 7 is an outdated OS and it will not updates the dronelink app.

How is this an issue with the DJI smart controller????? I don't think the Dronelink app can be installed on the SC

I have it installed more than a year now and it works perfectly fine but now dronelink has updated the app and that's where I'm encountering the issue. I also use litchi

You had to side load Dronelink as it is not an installable apps for the SC. Litchi is installed via the amazon store app that has to be side loaded (APK) first to get a good install of litchi. thus the very reason why dronelink may not work any longer, not a normal install to start with.

It still works great it's just updating the software we're encountering the issue
