It is impossible to refresh Mini 2 firmware

Had a gimbal issue and one of the first things DJI support suggested was a firmware refresh via Assistant 2. Turns out this is not possible with the Mini 2; the assistant 2 app will only allow you to download flight logs, it is not possible to upgrade or refresh the firmware with this program. (Apparently even support did not know this). Ended up just having to send the bird in for warranty repair.

Strange, you would have thought that DJI would have a version of assistant for the Mini 2, they had one for every other quad

The do have a version -- it's the "Consumer Drone" version. However, by design, this version does not allow firmware updates.
