Just bought a new Air 3. It does not show any of the flight modes. When i click on the 'Film roll' button near the shutter button nothing pops up.

Just bought a new Air 3. It does not show any of the flight modes. When i click on the 'Film roll' button near the shutter button nothing pops up. All firmware are updated. Now I am ably to only take normal videos. I dont have any options of Intelligent flight, Active track or anything else.

For completeness, is the drone turned on and connected to the RC?

Which RC do you have... RC-N1 or RC2?

If you are not getting a menu to change from photo to video, quick shots, master shots etc. I would remove the DJI fly app and reinstall it.

Thanks for all the replies. I solved the issue. It really got me for a couple of days.

Being a newbie, thinking that i wont be recording anything serious until i learn to fly flawlessly, i chose to buy the SD card later since there is already some space in the aircraft. Apparently Dji Fly app will show those flight modes ONLY if you insert a SD card in it.

More to learn. Once again thank you guys.

Glad you got it to work, but that wasn't the cause. I don't have that problem without an SD card. Also this is not documented anywhere, I can't find it googling (except this thread), nor is there any reason for DJI to do this.
