If you get a chance would you mind posting some DNGs in high contrast situations, e.g. shooting at a low angle to the sun, i.e. sun just outside the frame? The only 3S DNGs I have found on the internet have terrible shadow noise and purple fringing. Trying to understand if this is a characteristic of the 3S or a one off from the particular capture that was posted.
