Will be purchasing an Avata2 (fly more 3bat) and am curious if they're experiencing same customs clearance issues as I experienced with my Air3S. Curious if I should purchase through DJI or other reseller. The hoops I had to jump through before finally receiving the Air3S was a major pain in the a$$.

The only problem I see you having is the AVATA 2 seems to be sold out everywhere BUT you will have NO customs issues. You might try CAMRISE on Ebay........They are DJI New York, and are a very good and recommended seller!

Hard to tell since it has DJI Care Refresh but is that $200 more than the regular price, really?
Must be the new "already cleared customs" premium. LOL! Unfortunately, "DJI Warranty Included" isn't DJI Care Refresh. No Refresh. Claims to be the "DJI Official eBay Outlet Store" since 2016, shipping from New York via UPS, but is clearly scalping, as the 3 battery combo kit is listed at the same $1199 on DJI's own website. Apparently, "DJI Official" doesn't mean Official DJI, as they later list themselves as only a "DJI Authorized seller"

Camrise is legit so I knew whatever they sold came with an official DJI warranty but that's kinda misleading to put in the title as if there is something extra which is why I think Care Refresh....but I guess not. That's too bad, this is overpriced for what should be a "mirror" site for DJI except on Ebay.

If you order from dji.com, the last time I purchased the avata2, it came in 4 shipments, not sure why:

Must help to circumvent the Customs restrictions, keeping the declared value low, and only shipping as separate replacement components that cannot be flown without already having other components. Drone only, controls only, batteries only, hub and case only. Clever. Apparently, it worked!

Misleading indeed! However, it is now clear that they are not the "mirror" official DJI site on eBay, as they are only a "DJI Authorized seller."

Even the Amazon DJI scam resellers manage to convey the same impression, because of Amazon's presentation of them where they list a link to the DJI Store below the title of the listing, and list legitimate reseller listings on the same page as the scammers at 25% off, to lure you in!

I ordered my Air 3s on 12/26 and it was stuck in customs for weeks. I found it at Adorama this week, ordered it, got it in 1 day. DJI is sending me a refund.

Dronepoint Canada has them in stock, 2 day shipping. DP is my new go-to DJI source. Got my Flip from them. I'm considering asking them to send me a complimentary Toque with whatever I order next, as I'm practically an honorary Canadian now.
