2 Pro KEKROPS Quarry in Turkovounia Attica Greece

From 1937 to 1976 in Turkovounia (Attica Greece) the company KEKROPS operated a quarry and so the geomorphology of the area has, in many places, been irreparably damaged. Although the quarry is closed today, the industrial element remains very strong in the area. The company from 1988 until today is in a legal dispute with the Greek State and the Municipality of Psychiko regarding the ownership of these areas.
