I don't know how active this forum is for those of us in Kentucky, but there has been a House Bill filed that includes a section on Drones. Just thought I would pass it along to everyone.

Seems the politicians in Kentucky don’t realize the FAA controls the airspace, not them. For a free state, sounds like more bills to limit the use of drones and stray even further from transparency. For the senate bill, it definitely sounds like the goal is to protect big business and allow them to continue to carry out their way without having those who object to their practices utilize new technology to uncover and expose their questionable practices. What they don't understand is the law isn't going to protect them.
"Create a new section of KRS Chapter 511 to define terms; prohibit the operation of unmanned aircraft, video or audio recording devices, or photography equipment on or above a concentrated animal feeding operation or commercial food manufacturing or processing facility without written consent of the owner or authorized representative of the facility; establish a Class B misdemeanor for violations."
If you click on the sub link it takes you here.Need more info on the UAS part of the bill. If you can get ahold of that, we can rally the troops. Reach out to me at [email protected]. This is what we do.
