New LED Aftermarket Props for Mavic Air does not seem to work. When I put the original ones back one, it worked perfectly.Any experience or problems with LED props ? Thanks.

What exactly doesn't seem to be working as expected?

Its usually better not to use aftermarket lighted props. They might look pretty but they are probably not up to spec with DJI props.

When I put the LED props on, and tried to fly... the drone acted totally strange ... it only went up a couple of feet ... then basically slammed back down. Very scary .... I put the original props back on ... and all worked well.

Are you using STARTRC props? If so, I see someone else posted they make the Mavic Air unstable in the reviews.

Some people have experienced instability issues when using Master Airscrew props (another 3rd party brand). Adjusting the gains in DJI GO seemed to completely resolve the issue. I don't know if that would help in your case.

Whatever you do, be careful when using those props. If they cause damage to your Mavic Air, DJI will not fix/replace your Mavic Air under warranty (or DJI Care Refresh).

That alone causes me to use only DJI props, no matter how much cheaper or flashy or any other "advantage" they might have it is not worth risking my drone.

Agree, props are way cheaper than the bird... but I don’t know if DJI can get info to prove the aftermarket props were the problem. I personally chose not to risk it since the bird’s optimal performance is programmed by DJI for their props.

Between you choosing to be truthful and/or an examination of the DAT flight log, that should be an easy task for them.
